Roll out the red, red carpet
Pull the rug from under me
I feel the warmth of the fire burning inside
Set me up to get burned instead
It's tempting but you treat me with such contempt
Fire is the only warmth I've ever known
I feel that ire that fuels the flames
We can set it straight or figure out who's to blame
Home is where I don't belong
It's not just
My home
Put a roof over my head
Knock me out and leave me for dead
Nothing over my head except the stars
Now I am seeing stars
They're burning but it's oh so cold, you know
They seem about as far away as my home
It's clear this is no home
Not until we build it up and we make it ours
Home is where I don't belong
It's not just
My home
Home is where I don't belong
It's not just
My home
The stars seem about as far away as my home
It's clear this is no home
Not until we build it up and we make it our home
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
Italian stoner powerhouse Tenebra has the heft of Sabbath and the hooks of Saint Vitus in their powerfully imposing tunes. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2022
This outing from G&P is as the title suggests; a slower, doom laden extravaganza. This show cases the evolution of a band experimenting and growing their sound. There are still the lavish 80ies Heavy Metal lead breaks but a Doomy stoner sound is taking a greater precedence. The sound is more polished than the previous EP and the vocal are reminiscent of Kayleth’s front man, Enrico Gastaldo. Brilliant stuff. Harry Harrison
